1976
Graduated Del Campo High school, Sacramento CA. Awarded Most Outstanding Crafts Student three years in a row and made All League Soccer Team.
1978
Took first Jewelry Arts class American River Junior College.
1979
Attended CSU Chico where I received a Teaching Credential, played college and Semi-Pro soccer but most of all, worked at a local jewelry store as their bench jeweler for five years.
1984
Accepted a position as an independent contractor in Lahaina, Maui making custom jewelry.
1985
Won my first AGTA Spectrum Award, The largest jewelry design competition in the nation.
1990
Opened the first Weber Goldsmith Gallery at the Shops at Wailea, Maui, Hawaii.
Won two more spectrum awards and four state design competitions. Worked with multiple
celebrities, sports figures, industry heads and heads of state. Some notable clients include Sharon Stone,
Elton John, Ryne Sandburg, The queen of Saudi Arabia, the heads of Warner Brothers and Goldman Sachs. This was a very fun time as a designer. My clients were from all over the world and allowed me to create very unique quality pieces.
2000
Won my fourth and best know Spectrum award. “Neptune’s Birth” which is now on display in the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) permanent museum and was the featured piece for the world wide “Year of the Pearl” campaign in 2007.
2000-2008
Opened at The Lodge at Pebble Beach. Having made the big life decision to bring my family back to California, I accepted an invitation to open a location at the Shops at the Lodge in Pebble Beach. I continued servicing my clients and gained new ones during this time.
2008-present
Opened Weber Goldsmith Gallery at the entry corner location at the Crossroads Shopping
Center. At this location I have not only kept and maintained my high-end clients, but have embraced the local customers who may need care and attention to have their treasured heirloom repairs or maybe create a piece made as a gift or show of love.
I don’t know where the next “paragraph” of our journey will take us, but I very much enjoy being at least one business that can give people a unique, personal experience and the craftsmanship they can appreciate.
